Marc Jensen
President
Marc Jensen leads the operations and technology for space150. With over 15 years of experience in gaming, 3D animation, and interactive work, he oversees technology for enterprise, interaction, and mobile development. In addition to the engineering team, he also ensures close coordination with all core offerings, helping space150 produce creative, innovative and effective solutions for clients. Marc joined in 2002, and has been with space150 since the early years.
Under Marc’s leadership, space150 has developed groundbreaking work for Target, Best Buy, Discovery and the NBA. His technology leadership has helped space150 be a leader in AWS cloud-computing products, social networking, CMS, and commerce. Marc also helped define and solidify the technology teams with the proper leadership and a modern approach making them the envy of the industry.
Before joining space150, Marc was a pioneer in console and pc game development, as well as 3D animation and special effects, motion capture, animation, and facial animation systems. Client experience included Mattel, EA Sports, and Weta Digital Effects.
Marc believes strongly in educating the next generation of technology engineers. He has been Adjunct Faculty at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and has spent over 10 years creating and teaching classes that include Videogame History, Videogame World Design, and History of Digital and Electronic Media.
When he gets a chance to unplug, Marc spends his freetime traveling, diving, fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, and “off the grid” at his cabin.
