Minnesota Business Magazine has named space150 PR and Emerging Media Director Lisa Grimm to The (Real) Power 50. Featured in its May issue out today, The (Real) Power 50 recognizes 50 business professionals in Minnesota that are "the linchpins in their company, the connectors in their industry, the heart of the operation, the ones who make things happen." The complete list of winners can be found here.
"space150 has a team of extremely talented, driven and forward thinking people," said Billy Jurewicz, chief creative officer and CEO of space150. "We are proud to call Lisa a spacer and thrilled to see her recognized for her work. We also think it's rad that she's featured on the cover of the magazine."
Minnesota Business took an unconventional approach to sourcing award recipients. Instead of creating another list of CEO's from large corporations, "we wanted to bring a spotlight to individuals that are the go to players to make things happen in small and mid size businesses," said Tamara Prato, group publisher of Tiger Oak Media. Editors identified 50 key players in the Minnesota business community to nominate three people whose work had generated notable results. From there, the editorial board selected the 50 final award recipients. "Our approach to have key players choose the Real Power ensured we were getting at the right people. The process led to a much more diverse group of industries and individuals," said Prato.
Congratulations to all (Real) Power 50 honorees. Power on!
