You can see where space150 is going and you know how to organize the IT department to align with the goals of the company to keep growing our creativity and profitability.
As a IT Manager you’re the main point of contact for large technical issues. You’re accepted as a company-wide leader and key contributor to space150 projects, clients and culture. You're comfortable stepping outside of your comfort zone to try new things and technologies all while keeping the technology ship on course for growth and scalability. You have a prominent voice in guiding space150 itself, and help sell our services successfully and work to interface efficiently with space150 departments and our clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the department and all of its members to success
- Manage IT department according to IT manifesto
- Day to day management of all IT resources
- Create and execute Network Infrastructure changes and plans
- Tier 3 support for technical issues
- Work with other department leads to achieve space150 goals
- Create improvement strategies for the IT team
- Execute hiring or staff reduction as appropriate
- Manage Helpdesk Technicians, Network Admins and Sr. Network Admins
- Ensure timely performance reviews of all IT team members
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Directory
- Google Apps
- Linux / Unix systems
- Proficient with ESXi and VMWare setups
- Cisco switch configuration
- Firewall configuration with Branch Office VPN setups
- Mac / PC operating systems
- Windows Server 2003, 2008
- IIS 6.0, 7.0
- Excellent understanding of IP topology and network architecture
- Wireless security and authentication
Education
Four year degree Emphasis on communications, marketing or related field preferred.
