Senior Account Executive

Minneapolis

The SAE leads the client in their pursuit of strategic interactive solutions that will generate previously unrealized digital income. The SAE acts as the business liaison between space150 and the client by communicating client needs clearly to the internal team. The SAE will equally ensure outstanding client service by anticipating opportunities as well as issues, and responding proactively to ensure effective resolution.

Essential Functions

  • Provide strategic thinking and a broad business perspective to the client in order to develop and implement effective interactive campaigns and solutions
  • Manage and supervise assignments for internal team consisting of Account Coordinators, Assistant Account Executives and Account Interns
  • Act as point person for client contact on a regular basis
  • Identify and seize opportunities to expand client relationships by networking in order to develop business

Primary Duties

  • Accurately represent space150’s range of services to the client
  • Develop close, professional working relationships with all of your clients
  • Work closely with client to outline project scope, timing and budget
  • Initiate and prepare project proposals and estimates to present to the client
  • Initiate new project requests and action requests to communicate client information to the team
  • Develop client opportunity plans which include the creative brief, timelines and scope of work
  • Manage client expectations throughout each project, clearly communicating status and next steps
  • Track budgets for costs to date and manage in a proactive manner
  • Review all creative and make sure it is consistent with creative brief objectives
  • Communicate project timeline to client and obtain approvals accordingly
  • Ensure that creative execution is on strategy before reviewing with client
  • Anticipate and assist in client’s approval process gaining client approvals according to the schedule
  • Be present at all internal and external client-related meetings
  • Write meeting notes that clearly document communications and outline next steps with client. Share notes with client as well as space150 team
  • Work with space150 technical team to develop technical specifications and route to client for approval

  • Ensures that deadlines are met

  • Completes invoicing and hours reports

  • Attends monthly billing review meetings, determines invoice amount, and provides invoice backup if requested by client

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two or more related work experience in marketing, marketing communications, or related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and listening skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to think strategically to solve business problems
  • Ability to interface with senior level clients
  • Ability to quickly understand individual clients' business
  • Willingness to travel

Education

Four year degree Emphasis on communications, marketing or related field preferred.
