Senior Brand Planner

space150 is looking for a Brand Planner to join its enthusiastic (and slightly eccentric) team. We're looking for someone who's on the cutting edge of cultural and technical trends to guide the development of our campaigns. We're looking for someone who believes that a company's digital identity is the heart of its brand.
Qualifications
- 4+ years Account Planning experience or 6+ years of advertising experience
- 4 year college degree (preferred concentration in communications, marketing, behavioral studies or a related field)
- Ability to think strategically to solve business problems
- Ability to lead research projects
- Ability to quickly understand individual clients’ business and contribute to actionable ideas
- Strong presentation skills, must be able to sell and support our work
- Background in mobile and financial services
- Willingness to travel
Essential Functions
- Generate primary and analyze secondary consumer and cultural research
- Develop consumer insights – including perceptions, motivations, needs, barriers, etc. for a variety of client assignments
- Author Creative Briefs and other strategic and presentation documents and lead briefings and presentations
- Ongoing contribution to creative process for all digital products
Primary Duties
- Design research projects
- Lead brainstorm and ideation sessions
- Support creative development
- Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities to expand client relationship to organically grow business
- Stay on top of emerging technologies and understand their relevance to current projects
- Keep end-user top of mind and work to put a human face on technology
