Senior Account Executive

Position Summary:

The SAE leads the client in their pursuit of strategic interactive solutions that will generate previously unrealized digital income. The SAE acts as the business liaison between space150 and the client by communicating client needs clearly to the internal team. The SAE will equally ensure outstanding client service by anticipating opportunities as well as issues, and responding proactively to ensure effective resolution.

Essential Functions

  1. Provides strategic thinking and a broad business perspective to the client in order to develop and implement effective interactive campaigns and solutions
  2. Manages and supervises assignments for internal team consisting of Account Coordinators, Assistant Account Executives, and Account Interns
  3. Acts as point person for client contact on a regular basis
  4. Identifies and seizes opportunities to expand client relationships by networking in order to develop business

Primary Duties

  1. Accurately represents space150’s range of services to the client
  2. Develops close, professional working relationships with all of your clients
  3. Works closely with client to outline project scope, timing, and budget
  4. Initiates and prepares project proposals and estimates to present to the client
  5. Initiates new project requests and action requests to communicate client information to the team
  6. Develops client opportunity plans, which include the creative brief, timelines, and scope of work
  7. Manages client expectations throughout each project, clearly communicating status and next steps
  8. Tracks budgets for costs to date and manages in a proactive manner
  9. Reviews all creative and make sure it is consistent with creative brief objectives
  10. Communicates project timeline to client and obtains approvals accordingly
  11. Ensures that creative execution is on strategy before reviewing with client
  12. Anticipates and assists in client’s approval process, gaining client approvals according to the schedule
  13. Is present at all internal and external client-related meetings
  14. Writes meeting notes that clearly document communications and outline next steps with client. Shares notes with client as well as space150 team
  15. Works with space150 technical team to develop technical specifications and routes to client for approval

Secondary Duties

  1. Ensures that deadlines are met
  2. Completes invoicing and hours reports in a timely and accurate manner
  3. Attends monthly billing review meetings, determines invoice amount, and provides invoice backup if requested by client

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Two or more related work experience in marketing, marketing communications, or related field
  2. Strong interpersonal skills
  3. Strong verbal and listening skills
  4. Strong writing skills
  5. Ability to think strategically to solve business problems
  6. Ability to interface with senior-level clients
  7. Ability to quickly understand individual clients’ business
  8. Willingness to travel

Education:

Four year degree Emphasis on communications, marketing or related field preferred.
