Minneapolis — Minneapolis based space150.com, has launched a new website: www.scaredycats.com for gourmet Scaredy Cats Dog Treats.

Shaped like cats, the treats are derived from a homemade recipe using 100% natural ingredients and deliver a healthier alternative for dogs. The snacks are a good source of fiber and protein and use ingredients such as garlic, carrots, rice and potatoes.

An online resource for dog lovers, the site provides users with product information and seasonal coupons, and supports local homeless animal shelters through the donation of 1% of Scaredy Cats profits. An e-commerce section is due to launch in the fall.

“Although this treat was inspired by the age-old rivalry between cats and dogs, it aims to provide a happy, harmonious and healthful treat for dogs of all shapes and sizes,” said Cabell Westbrook, president of Scaredy Cats Dog Treats, a division of Trick DogStuff, LLC.

Results already show through a palatability test performed by Kennelwood Inc. that dogs overwhelmingly prefer Scaredy Cats 3 to 1 over Milk-Bone^® on the basis of total consumption.
