Best Buy came to space150 for a microsite to accompany its 2004 holiday campaign featuring the one and only Kevin Kringle. “Kevin Kringle?”, you ask. “Who, exactly, is Kevin Kringle?” Well.
Everyone knows Kris Kringle, but few have heard of his younger brother Kevin. Kris is a magical holiday icon. Kevin is just a regular guy living in Florida. Kris makes perfect gifts up at the North Pole. When it comes to gifts, Kevin … goes to Best Buy.
The microsite, designed to capture the attention of Best Buy’s 18 to 24-year-old audience, featured Kevin’s Kustom Jingles, Kevin’s Not-So-Helpful Little Helpers, and the Re-gifter 3000. The home page also featured a simple Flash game, engaging visitors from the moment they arrived.
Merry Kristmas to all. And to all, a good site.
