Background

Rapid growth made Cargill’s North American protein division a powerhouse—and left them with a mess of siloed tech, scattered content, and broken customer journeys. To lead in a digital-first food culture, they didn't need another patchwork fix. They needed an enterprise-grade engine. We unified their tech foundation under one roof, cutting the operational bloat while empowering individual brand teams to move fast and engage modern consumers.

The Challenge

Cargill’s Protein Division was running 25+ independent websites—and paying the price. Disjointed tech and broken user journeys created a maintenance nightmare, leaving the entire digital ecosystem feeling disconnected.

Our Approach

To fix the fragmentation, space150 deployed an engineering-first strategy, consolidating 25+ web properties onto a single, standardized CMS and hosting architecture. With the core tech stabilized, we built an agile, full-funnel DTC engine from the ground up, linking immersive brand storytelling directly to targeted performance media and automated lifecycle email flows.

Results

We migrated all 25+ digital properties onto the new platform, slashing site management overhead and accelerating build times for future web projects—solidifying a multi-year, high-impact partnership with Cargill.

Unified Enterprise Infrastructure

Consolidated over 25 fragmented Cargill web properties onto a singular, scalable WordPress and WP Engine framework, standardizing accessibility, core web vitals performance, PIM integrations, and GDPR compliance across the portfolio.

Portfolio Redesign & Modernization

Redesigned key consumer and foodservice properties—including Rumba Meats, Shady Brook Farms, Crave House, and PrimeWaters—to modern digital standards while drastically reducing operational friction for internal teams.
